I would give 10 stars if I could!!! I have never walked out of this nail salon disappointed. This is the best place in Ithaca AND the surrounding areas to get your nails done. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Luxury Nails!
Appointment only which is nice. Youre not waiting long or at all for your service. Everyone is very friendly and respectful.
The picture is taken less than 24 hours after the “luxury” manicure. The most horrendous manicure of my life. The nail polish covers half of my skin and cuticles, due to that it chips every hour like no tomorrow. To add more comments about the service, I was 10 minutes late (I called 5 times in advance of my appointment to tell that I will be late, but no one picked up the phone) and when I arrived the salon was closed, even though my appointment was at 6 and it closes at 7. Outside there were two employees, who were very annoyed with my late arrival. When I entered the salon I have received a full 10 minutes lecture about how I am NOT ALLOWED to be late. Overall awful manicure and very bad service.
Very friendly people! I got a shellac manicure and was happy with the result. You even get a free drink included in the price. Better bring cash bc they charge 3$ more if you need to pay by card.

Was my go to place for when I would occasionally get my nails done. The younger man on staff was incredibly rude the entire time and made the experience uncomfortable for me. I tipped well for a 100+ dollar full set, but personally won’t be going back. There was another reviewer talking about their daughter’s experience as a Black woman and I can completely relate. Also, multiple nails also broke and that has never happened to me before with any manicures i’ve gotten. The women and the primary man on staff were really kind as usual, but the younger man made the whole experience not worth it. I think there’s a bigger issue at hand with this salon and how they treat certain customers.
I have been going to Lux for years now. They are always accommodating and kind to me! I am a local, black woman and I only trust them with my nail and feet upkeep. I enjoy coming here, as I have for years. They are very sweet and do a wonderful job in all areas of service.
Best nail salon in Ithaca by a mile, especially for acrylics. They’re often fully booked, but it’s worth the wait! They value their regulars a lot, so if you become a repeat customer and consistently book your next appointment before you leave the current one it’s a lot easier to get in.
